New School Year Housekeeping: Parents, please note that on Information Day and during the first week of school, your child was given many forms, brochures, handbooks, etc., that you need to review. The following documents and forms need to be returned completed and signed to your child’s homeroom teacher: Notarized Affidavit of Residency:  This requirement  for all students attending Fulton County Schools need to be returned  within 30 days of registration.  Please see our website for the requirements. Notary service is free at Ridgeview. Pink Emergency Transportation Card RCS Promise PTA Membership:  Our Charter requires parents to join the PTA.  The minimum family membership is $5.00 Discipline Handbook:  Page 41  needs to be completed.  Please have your child return them to their  homeroom teacher. Address/Demographics:  Your child’s address, parent contact information and emergency contact information need to be kept up to date throughout the year. Free and Reduced Meal Application Form:  All families applying for Free and Reduced Meals must turn in their completed forms by September, 15, 2010, regardless of whether their children participated in this program last year or not. Class Syllabi:  Students have been given syllabi on the different subjects they are taking.  Parents are to review these and sign according to the individual teacher’s instructions. Car Pool For parents dropping off or picking their students up, please note the following: If coming from the Access Rd., please drive straight through towards Trimble Rd. and turn right onto our carpool lane.  If coming from Trimble Rd., please turn in to our last entrance and turn on to our carpool lane. Birthdays at Ridgeview Parents, please note that your student’s birthday cannot be celebrated with food brought to anyone but your own  student.  We ask your understanding with this restriction as we need to avoid any possible allergic reactions to our students.
